I got my lips done in the uk before heading traveling. I don't like the results- they have not been done badly at all I just don't like the change and regret the decision. How long will it last and is there anything I can do to help dissolve the juvederm? As I'm abroad I'm scared to get more injections!

Answer: Juvederm for lips Depending on the amount of Juvederm injected into your lips, it can take 4 to 8 months for it to slowly diminish. Without having it dissolved with hyaluronidase, you will need to wait it out. If you do decide to have it dissolved, remember that you may require filler touch-ups and should consider waiting until you return home.

Answer: How does Juvederm dissolve Juvederm dissolves slowly over time, depending on your body's metabolism and how quickly it absorbs it. The average it takes is between 6-12 months, depending on the location of the Juvederm in the face. In the lips, because they move a lot, it does go away faster, usually in about 6-8 months. If you don't want to have hyaluronidase injected (which will take the Juvederm away immediately), then your only other choice is to wait for your body to dissolve it on its own.
