Can a prescription diuretic dissolve or ruin Juvederm?

No, diuretics will not dissolve Juvederm that is injected in your skin. However, you may find that swelling associated with water retention leads to a bloated appearance, and you may look different once the bloating goes away.

From my experience there is no interaction between juvederm fillers and diuretics . I would recommend that you go ahead with your juvederm treatment.

Hyaluronic acid does absorb water, and different products absorb different amounts of water. Diuretic should have no effect on any hyaluronic acid product, but there may be a minor effect on the water absorbed into the product if someone is dehydrated.  However, if you are on a diuretic for control your blood pressure, you should make sure you drink adequate water to avoid any dehydration

J have never had this happen to one of my patients and I am not sure why it would .Proceed with injections but, stay on your medications.
