Do some people metabolize Juvederm injections faster than others such as in my case?

Yes it is possible for some people to metabolize the product quicker then others but one month is unlikely.   If one syringe was used for both areas it is most likely you just need more product to get optimal results.  I would encourage you to buy the additional syringe and take very good before and after photos so you can see the results.  Best of luck

Fillers will last a variable amount of time for everyone.  It also makes a difference what area is injected, and how much.  One month duration is very unusual.  Was only one tube used to inject both the marionettes and the lips?  If you try to divide a tube among too many areas, it is not going to produce a good long term effect.  Also, in areas with a lot of movement -  such as the lips and lower face, the fillers will not last as long. In an area with less movement such as the upper cheek or temple they will usually last much longer.     

Every patient is different. Some people metabolize the product quicker than others. There're different factors that can affect loss of volume so fast-- like not enough product used; if the product was placed too deep then-- Juvederm can be absorbed quicker; also-- smoking can affect the product's longevity. 

Possibly BUT maybe you were 'under injected' in amounts. This is most likely the case. You tried to avoid extra fees. Did you have 1 or 2 syringes injected. I bet only 1... Pay for the second syringe....

Every patient is different and yes, some people will metabolize something faster than another. That is why fillers last a range of time - some will be shorter, some longer. More than likely in your case though, not enough filler was injected. Splitting a single syringe between multiple areas usually means not enough goes into any one area. 1cc of filler is less than a teaspoon of material. So, it's just really not that much. You most likely needed more filler for multiple areas, so it's not that your body metabolized it. It's that not enough was used from the beginning.
