I had juvederm injections on lip lines and marionette lines. Within 1 month the results were noticeably diminished; the nurse agreed that the results were not there. She said that my body must have metabolized the juvederm very fast. Is this possible...within 1 month? The nurse said she can redo with a different injection but I will have to pay for it. Do some people metabolize injections faster than others such as in my case?

If one syringe was used for both areas it is most likely you just need more product to get optimal results. Answer: Juvederm longevity Fillers will last a variable amount of time for everyone. It also makes a difference what area is injected, and how much. One month duration is very unusual. Was only one tube used to inject both the marionettes and the lips? If you try to divide a tube among too many areas, it is not going to produce a good long term effect. Also, in areas with a lot of movement - such as the lips and lower face, the fillers will not last as long. In an area with less movement such as the upper cheek or temple they will usually last much longer.
