Is it better to do 2 sessions for 4000 grafts FUE? I’m considering a 2nd FUE for better result. (Photos)

If you already had 4000 FUE harvested, another 4000 grafts will likely made your donor area look depleted and thin.  Discuss your options with your doctor.

Regardless of how many sessions are done I would be wary of doing another 4000 grafts as that will most likely overharvest your donor area.I would have a long discussion with your surgeon as well as fully evaluate your donor area with a macroscope.

In my opinion you do not need a second session of 4000. You need way less and you need to consult with a hair specialist.

That number of grafts (4000 plus 4000) raises the question of excessive thinning of the donor areas. I recommend you get a second opinion.

You will need to consult your hair transplant surgeon to see if there is a good enough donor supply from your occipital region. 8000 grafts may mean you have a noticeable "harvested" region in your donor area.

a total of 8000 FUE grafts will produce a see-through donor area and donor site depletion.  Ask you surgeon to show you another patient who had 8000 FUE grafts and see if there is much hair left in the donor area
