I did my first FUE with 4000 grafts a year ago now I’m considering a 2nd FUE for better result. The doctor suggested that I need 4000 grafts again to cover the area. I’m thinking to do it in two sessions instead of doing it at once like the first time, would that make the result better? and is 4000 grafts enough for me?

Answer: 2 sessions That number of grafts (4000 plus 4000) raises the question of excessive thinning of the donor areas. I recommend you get a second opinion.

Answer: Better to do 2nd session Final result and canopy effect of hair transplant related with caliber of your native hair in donor area; characteristic of hair (waviness or straight hair) ; surface and density of donor area that directly affects the number of harvested grafts; color difference between hair and skin and finally hair style. If you are not satisfy with result of your first operation, would better to check those parameters and think about to plan a second HT to increase the density .4000 grafts are more than enough for your desired drawn areas. one session would be enough with 3000 grafts.
