8th post operative day after FUE, all scabs fell off (Photo)

Question

I have an oily skin with dandruff in it, i had itching all over my scalp where i had first sitting transplant, i used shampoo 3times (used normal saline to loosen the scabs) and the scabs with shaft fall off, next day the other sitting hair also fall off but this time i shampooed 4times and used intermediate force; around 300shafts fall off, did i do something wrong.. I am greatly worried..

If you are concerned please follow up with your doctor for an exam.
You will have hair loss after surgery. Not all the grafts will take. You won't really know until you see results in 6 to 12 months.

Transplanted graft’s hair starts to shedding in the first week of surgery and may go on untill 4-6 th weeks after surgery. İt is not surprising to lost approx. % 70-80 of all transplanted hair shafts in first month when you are washing, gently rubbing or touching the head. İt is shock loss and not permanent. Even your native hair may affected with that post traumatic transient hair loss…New hair at transplant and donor area starts to grow at 3-4 th month after surgery .

That is where you want to be, with no crusts (scabs) present and a clean recipient area. Now shampoo regularly and wait until the grafts grow out, about 4-5 months
