17 days ago I had a face lift and experienced extreme swelling on one side. At 10 days the numbness, swelling and left upper lip and smile on left side were still not responding. At 14 days I saw the PS covering for my doc and I started a Medrol dose pack and was told it was bruised nerves that would recover. Some swelling has been decreased today (end of day 3 on dose pack) but a significant portion of swelling and numbness remain. Can I safely continue the methyl prednisolone or a few more days?
