I have baldness in crown even 10 months & a half after FUE. I’m considering a 2nd FUE. To increase density in crown area. I have a lot of hair in legs.
Answer: Leg hair for the crown area I do not use leg hair for a donor source for transplantation due to poor quality, texture and color matching issues, difficulty with harvest, etc. Another FUE session from the back of the scalp is likely to be the best option.Be sure to see an expert. All the best,

Answer: Body Hair FUE While leg hair is an option for FUE, it is suboptimal. You will typically not get the desired length you are seeking. This sort of body hair has a shortened growth cycle relative to scalp hair. Thus this is not the preferred donor site. With regards to your specific question, at 10 months you still have an additional 2 months before you can appreciate the full effect of your grafting procedure. I would recommend patience and follow up with your board certified (ABPS) hair restoration specialist.

Answer: Legs hair coverage for crown area we do not use leg hairs as donor because short life cycle and weak structures. Second hair transplantation with FUE would cover all bald spot in one session of operation and you would have a good, successfull result

Answer: Body hair transplant The best hair for harvesting with same hair characteristics and growth rate is scalp to scalp. Leg or body hair transplant is considered if there is not enough hair to be harvested from the scalp.
