Health insurance does not typically cover "cosmetic procedures" nor their potential complications if they were to occur. Ask your board certified plastic surgeon what action he or she would recommend that you take. My advice would be for you to purchase health insurance coverage if you do not currently have it to protect yourself from financial catastrophes resulting from NON-cosmetic procedures. Cosmetassure offers cosmetic surgery insurance for any complication that may occur in the first 30 days post-op. Your plastic surgeon has to participate in the program for your procedure to be covered., and the procedure has to be performed under general anesthesia. Dear Lilbookie12,Insurances don`t cover any plastic surgery procedures. Here we have an eventuality insurance to cover any problem coming from unexpected events after surgery, this optional for the patient. Best whishes.
BBL is an elective surgery which is not covered by insurance. There are payment plans offered by CareCredit and other companies that pay for medical procedures.
Thank you for your question. This procedure would not be covered by insurance seeing as it is elective cosmetic surgery and not medically necessary. There are payment plans out there such as Care Credit that you can utilize to pay for your procedure and make monthly payments to them. I would recommend scheduling a consultation with a board certified plastic surgeon to pursue your cosmetic goals. Best of luck in your endeavors!Sincerely,James Fernau, MD, FACSBoard Certified ENTBoard Certified Plastic SurgeryMember of ASPS, ASAPS, ISAPS, The Rhinoplasty Society, AAFPRS, OTO/HNS, ASLMS, International Federation for Adipose Therapeutics & Science

The answer to this question depends on how much fat you had to harvest. If the surgeon told you that all you had was 340cc, then they should have told you upfront that you did not have much fat, as 340cc will make little to no difference. Typically, we will only transfer fat if there is at least...
Hello and thank you for your excellent question. Reston foam and lipo foam are similar, but not identical. Reston foam as an adhesive side that I have found to irritate skin, whereas lipo foam does not. It is also easier to clean lipo foam. Ultimately, you should ask your surgeon if the product ...
