Hello, thank you for sharing your question. Yes, receiving dermal fillers, Botox or Bellafill will not interfere with the results of a facelift. If you feel that a facelift will help you achieve your aesthetic goals, don't worry about procedures done in the past. However, it is important to make the surgeon aware of your injections, as well as your medical history prior to the facelift procedure. I recommend visiting a board-certified facial plastic surgeon for the best outcome.
Hi,Of course you can have a facelift after filler injections. However in my practice I prefer the fillers to go away and then combine the facelift with a fat grafting procedure.Dr. Ali Rıza Öreroğlu MD, FEBOPRASDouble Board Certified Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic SurgeonIstanbul - TURKEY
Thank you for the question. Yes, it is safe to have a facelift after having filler injections, including Bellafill. Generally, soft tissue fillers are used in areas that the facelift is not designed to directly address (such as the nasolabial folds, marionette folds, and undereye areas). If you are having a facelift and need more volume in these places, your own fat is likely the best option. Take care and good luck!
In general, yes, a facelift is safe after facial filler injections. I do not use Bellafill for several reasons, but I do not think it would cause a major issue with any facelift procedures.Be sure to see an expert who focuses of facial aesthetic procedures. All the best,
Having a facelift is a important step in one's facial rejuvenation. I am dealing with a similar situation now with a patient and have suggested she wait until the hyaluuronic acid filler impact has resolved. I want the best for her and my surgical plan is predicated on the actual appearance of her face. However, the impact of Bellafil injections are more lasting. Please seek out a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon in your area that can help you with this process.Sincerely,Michael Kulick MDSan Francisco, Ca
Yes, you can have a facelift after Bellafill. Make sure you know where the Bellafill was injected. I’d also recommend a neck lift with platysmaplasty to fix any sagging of the chin and neck, plus a chemical peel to improve the wrinkling and stimulate the production of new collagen. Microneedling could help improve the scars. I hope this helps!
To my knowledge, there is no contraindication known that would prevent you from having facelift surgery after being injected with Bellafil.
A facelift can certainly be done after Bellafill injections. In fact, it may be beneficial to improve collagen growth in the skin with Bella fill and then have a facelift to improve facial descent and volume loss.
Thank you for your question. You can definitely get a facelift after having facial injections. There should be no increase in complications or anything else.
Thank you for your question. Yes, you can have a facelift after getting Bellafil or other hyaluronic acid fillers. In the best case scenarios, the fillers can be used to enhance the overall facelift. Be sure to discuss with your surgeon that you have had Bellafil in the past, and consult with a board certified facial plastic surgeon or plastic surgeon who specializes in facial rejuvenation. I hope that this helps!-David Gilpin
Hi, I believe the asymmetries you describe are due to facial skeleton and soft tissue differences between the 2 sides. Correction via fillers or fat grafting would be the best option. Facelift is not a good option for your age. Dr. Ali Rıza Öreroğlu MD, FEBOPRASDouble Board Certified Pla...

Hi, Thank you for your question. This likely represents a granuloma. Granulomas or inflammatory tissues require a source of stimulation, in your case, likely a deep suture. Your wound should be probed as well as cultured. All the best!Babar Sultan MD
