Gynecomastia Surgery for Ulcerative Colitis Patient. Is there any substitution for antibiotics?

I have a Gynecomastia and also ulcerative colitis. Im kind a hesitating getting the gynecomastia surgery done because you have you take antibiotics after surgery which i cannot take. Previously i was taking Antibiotics which caused blood in my stool . Is there any substitution for antibiotics? Please advise, thanks.
