Will my suit size change after gynecomastia surgery? (Photo)

Question

Currently a 46R - the combination of broad shoulders and a large chest (certainly not all muscle!) it is difficult to shop for clothes. Judging by the photo, i'm curious if a reduction in jacket size may result from gynecomastia surgery (gland excision and lipo of the chest and near armpit region to the sides of the chest).

Made to measure suits, yes. Off the rack, no. The 46R represents shoulder width and arm/body length. If you have had your suits tailored to fit your chest that may need to be taken in a bit.

From the photographs I don't think there will be enough change in the circumference of the chest after gynecomastia treatment to make a change in  shirt size or suit size.

It is very unlikely that your jacket size will change after excision gynecomastia, even with the addition of liposuction.  Based on these photographs it appears that your jacket size is being determined by your shoulder width, and the muscularity of your shoulders, arms, back, and chest.

You size will not change,but it should look better on you. From the photo you do have gynecomastia ,and surgery by the right expert should correct it if you are bothered by it.

It's unlikely your suit size will change, particularly because you are broad shouldered. However, you should obtain a very nice result from your surgery based on your photos!

I really doubt it. Your suit might fit a little better, but I doubt that the overall size will change. It appears as if a lot of your chest is muscular and a small amount is the gynecomastia.
