Forehead reduction scar. Is this normal? Should I be worried?

My scar is still not fully healed after my surgery which was over 30 weeks ago but it is fading gradually. Should i be worried or is this normal?

A scar may take a full 6 months to a year to heal.  Some people end up with great scars.  Others may end up with wider or bumpy scars.  It is best to follow up with your doctor for a recheck.

forehead reduction scar as most other scars can take up to a year to remodel
itself and sometimes longer for the color to fade.  There are some FDA approved silicone based
gel products that my help flatten, smoothen and soften scars as they
mature.  They are not always successful
and many patients may require surgical interventions for their scars. If after
your scar has completely healed and you are not satisfied with its appearance,
you may opt to add grafts in front of the scar at the hairline via a small hair
transplant procedure.

If there is a visible scar it should continue to fade. If it does not fade to your satisfaction, then a hair transplant will bury the scar completely and this is a reasonable option

I would be patient if it is continuing to improve. If you're ultimately not satisfied a small number of micrografts can be done to refine your result.
