A scar may take a full 6 months to a year to heal. Some people end up with great scars. Others may end up with wider or bumpy scars. It is best to follow up with your doctor for a recheck.

If there is a visible scar it should continue to fade. If it does not fade to your satisfaction, then a hair transplant will bury the scar completely and this is a reasonable option
I would be patient if it is continuing to improve. If you're ultimately not satisfied a small number of micrografts can be done to refine your result.
