My dog has already eaten one retainer. I went on vacation and left it at home came back the back two teeth on one side were eaten off. I can't get another one because I already lost one to the same dog and I don't have the same insurance. Will this affect my teeth although I have two permanent wire retainers One on the top and one on the bottom, but for some reason I only wear a top clear retainer. Also if I wash this off really well, will it hurt anything if one side is missing a couple teeth?
