I had upper braces for 3 years, then both braces for 2 years. I wear permanent retainer now, I notice that I have a little bit overbite on 4 of upper front tooth. Is it possible because of the permanent retainer placement mistake?, It doesn't look like this after the 3 years upper braces only treatment and when I use braces. Is there anything I can do to make it straight again without having another braces treatment?
My left side of my teeth is higher than my right and my lower teeth curves a little higher. Ive had braces for 4 years and my teeth is straight, and Im close to get them off. However, Im not happy with my results and I want to get it fix. My ortho tells me to wear my elastics. Is this something braces can fix it or is it because my face is uneven. I see it especially when I take a picture of my teeth and i invert it.
I had state insur. braces twice as a kid by the same ortho. When I was 17 she put a hyrax expander in my mouth that basically disfigured my maxilla and highlighted the problems that were already there. Now one side of my maxilla protrudes further out and it has ruined my already low self esteem for the past 10 years. My teeth look awful from every angle and I want to fix this issue but every time I see an ortho they don't take my seriously and offer Invisalign. What will actually work?
I used to wear braces. I never had any extractions of my teeth and nor did I have my arches expanded. My gonions are assymetrical. My left gonial angle is lower than my right one. In general what can be done to lower the gonial angle on both sides? Expanders? Can building the masseter muscles help achieve my goal?
Overjet, 7 crowns on top teeth, bottom teeth a little crowded and far back. I don't expect a completely perfect bite, I would just like the teeth to be pulled closer together to give a less goofy smile and better look from the side. Braces or jaw surgery?
I got a cbct before braces, and I was informed that my lower right milk canine never fell out, and that my permanent teeth was impacted. The dentists surgically extracted both and I was told the space could be widened and I could get an implant in its place. But almost 4 years after,I still have braces and the dentist told me the space cannot be widened and its still too small for an impant. What should i do? Can this space be closed by braces instead of an implant?
I had braces for over a year now but my mouth is still protruding. I already had one upper left & one upper right premolar tooth extracted. My treatment is almost over but I still have a protruding mouth and receding chin. Is there any further treatment/procedure to resolve this. Even if I try to push my chin forward I still have a protruding mouth and receding chin. I was told by my orthodontist that is how I would look like if I had the jaw surgery - see last photo . Thank you
