Very unlikely, too much liability and the bracket itself might not be what the other Dr. Likes . I strongly suggest to have treatment in the US by an Orthodontist for continuity of care and close supervision.

Thanks for your question. In my 20 years as an orthodontist I haven't seen any gum recession due to retainers. A good orthodontist will create a custom design retainer that will achieve stability of your teeth ,allowing good function and preserving the health of gums and teeth.

In order to give you an accurate answer all records need to be provided ( xrays , complete pictures) and a detail in person exam. However as a treatment with impacted teeth with intention of bringing it into the mouth ( if no space extractions will be required) is around 24-30 months. Make sure that your provider is an specialist ORTHODONTIST and not a general practitioner  DENTIST. There is a huge difference in knowledge and expertise between them. Best of luck!
