Can a neck, lower facelift combined with a breast lift and implants be combined in one surgery?

A lower face/neck lift is such a great procedure and especially nice now that it can be done under local but it is too much for any body to go through with a breast surgery. yes you can get your labs at kaiser and there is almost no pain during the face/neck lift and most patients only need 1 pain pill afterwards that night.

I would recommend that you split these two procedures in two different times.  Facelift can be performed using local anesthesia and twilight sedation, while breast augmentation and lift requires general anesthesia.  If you decided to do all of these procedures at once, it may take up to 7 hours of general anesthesia. That increases the risk of complications.

best advice you can receive is from an in-person consultation.  If you are in good health and can obtain medical clearance from your primary physician, then a facelift and breast lift with implants can be safely performed by the right surgeon.   Make sure you specifically look
at before and after pictures of real patients who have had this surgery
performed by your surgeon and evaluate their results.   The most
important aspect is to find a surgeon you are comfortable with. I recommend
that you seek consultation with a qualified board-certified plastic surgeon who
can evaluate you in person.

if the time allows for all these procedures to be done I don't see why not, if there is an extensive amount of time needed for each then you may want to separate it into two surgeries, however .... the procedures alone do not dictate if they can be performed together we often do this at the same time.  Best, Dr. Emer.

A breast lift and implants could take several hours to perform correctly, in addition to a lower face and neck lift which could take three hours. Best to perform them separately, about a month apart. In our practice, we perform both of these procedures under general anesthesia, Not local anesthesia for patient safety and comfort.

Dear Heidi, In my practice this procedure can be performed at the same time with two surgeons or the procedure is split into two procedures generally one month apart. You would need to have medical clearance and an anesthesiologist would be used with general anesthesia for both procedures to ensure your safety and comfort. You would not have any pain during the procedure and minimal pain post op that is easily controlled with pain medications. You can have your pre-operative work ups at Kaiser and as far as wait list or cancellations lists this would depend on the office you are scheduling with. You can combine all with one surgery.  We split it into a Facial Plastic surgeon doing the Neck lift and a Breast expert Plastic surgeon doing the lift and implants.  I will typically take 4-6 hours.  You will need general anesthesia and will not feel anything during the surgery.  Pre-op at Kaiser is fine.  Wait list/ Cancellations depends on the office.  You will need assistance for the first 24-48 hours after the surgery.  Your surgeon will arrange for pain medicines.  Seek out a consult with a board-certified surgeon.  Best wishes.
