Failed neck lift? Platysma bands are still there and chin looks worse. (photos)

Question

I am 69 years old .I have already 11 weeks after the neck lifting.Before surgery i had swolen platysma bands and some loosen skin.After 8weeks the platysma bands were there and the skin under my chin looked worse.-see foto. After another three weeks there is no improvment at all.In your opinion do i have any chance for improvment? What can i do? thank you

It is still too early to comment on your result. It takes at least 6 months to see stable result after face/neck surgery. However, it appears that you will need more of platysma muscle/SMAS tightening and skin excision to achieve better result. Formal face/neck lift would have been a better option then just anterior neck lift. Good luck.

since you didn't send a preop picture we can't tell if the chin is worse. In any event you should  wait as you are still significantly swollen and tight. I use micro doses of steroids in this area which may help. The age and inelasticity of your skin is also a factor here
