I’m a 23 year-old girl, fluctuating between 112-114 lbs. sort of petite, dry skin. I recently discovered I have TBD, but I don’t know if it’s mild or severe. So depressed because I always had them very small and asymmetrical and had to constantly wear padded bras not knowing it’s an actual condition that prevents me from even gaining weight there despite gaining it normally over my body. I figured fat grafting only adds fullness rather than changes shape, so what are my options? Thank you.
Answer: Fat transfer Dear me1246, fat transfer breast augmentation is a viable alternative for women who desire larger breasts without the use of implants. Fat transfer is also widely used in reconstruction of the breast after a mastectomy or lumpectomy. It can also be very effective in correcting the size and shape of the breasts due to genetic problems such as tuberous breast or Poland Syndrome, two conditions that look like misshapen or underdeveloped breasts. In addition, the following scenarios are also reason to consider breast fat grafting:• If you have chest areas that appear creased and sunken• If you desire more permanent correction than is provided by temporary fillers• If you wish to improve your body contour, revise scars, fill bodily depressions and rejuvenate the natural curve of your breasts• To fill in contour irregularities or hide obvious signs of breast implantsYou should discuss your concerns with a board certified plastic surgeon and make sure your surgeon understands your concerns and your breast augmentation goals. Only after a thorough examination you will get more information and recommendations. Answer: Breast augmentation I can see you are a small frame person with small breasts. I do not see any sign of tuberous breasts just small breasts. If you want your breasts larger I would recommend a breast augmentation with implants since it is far more reliable to get you your exact final result. Also you do not look like you would have enough donor fat for fat transfer to breasts. Get some in person opinions to discuss options. Good luck.

Answer: TBD You can have an augmentation mammaplasty and this should improve the shape of the breasts. Release of the tight inframammary fold can help obtain a better breast shape.

Answer: Short answer “yes” Thank you for your question and photos. An examination in person would be required to properly evaluate you and your options. That said, breast asymmetry can be corrected by trying to achieve symmetrical areolae and reduce the larger breast of an augmentation is not desired, or augmenting the smaller breast with autologous fat injection, assuming you have enough to borrow from somewhere else on your body. Please consult with an experienced board certified plastic surgeon whose results appeal to you based on his or her Before and After gallery. Best of luck to you.

Answer: TBD tuberous breast deformity? You don't have that If you believe you have tuberous breasts, you do not, just small breasts. The only real way to make any substantive change is with implants but very natural low profile ones can be done. But please take out of your mind that you have a deformity or a syndrome, as you do not.
