Morpheus 8 is a non-invasive skin and soft tissue tightening treatment that is consistently amazing in our patients. We use the Morpheus to exact fractional induced RF into the skin or tissue in order to tighten collagen and stimulate contraction of the tissue. For acne scars, it is quite useful to build collagen in patients who have atrophic scars but is not very productive for ice-pick scars which require TCA Cross. For tissue tightening, Morpheus is ideal for the face and neck and we often combine it with CO2 laser or Ultherapy to further enhance results. Chemical peels and skin resurfacing should be done at least 5 to 7 days after, but can be performed earlier, depending on treatment severity. Avoid exfoliating skin treatments before Morpheus and expect a period of 2-4 weeks for skin contraction to set in.

If you are not ready for a facelift then you should consider a lip lift. A lip lift does 4 things: shortens the distance between your nose and upper lip, increases the mucosa of the upper lip, increases the incisor show and pulls up the corners. At the same time, you may want fat injections to the marionettes and nasolabial folds. This is done under local anesthesia, takes about an hour to perform and costs $3,000.

A profile view would have been helpful. However, f the front-face photo provided simply shows the kinds of facial changes that are seen in active cosmetic dermatology practices practically every day and routinely treated quite easily with the appropriate choices of HA fillers injected with the proper techniques. These include the use of a robust HA volumzing filler for the cheeks, a robust HA lifting filler for the smile and marionette lines, and another HA filler for defining and straightening the jawline, etc. For the lack of success described, I can only conjecture that perhaps ordinary Juvederm or plain Restylane were used, rather than the more robust fillers that are required, which could explain the short duration of effects. Or perhaps, not enough of filler was used or that treatment was administered at some other venue, rather than by an experienced, board certified cosmetic dermatologist. I stopped using Sculptra many years ago already, since it was expensive, generally required three treatment sessions to see any benefit, and lacked the easy reversibility of HA fillers--if the need ever arose. And besides, the newer more robust HA fillers yielded immediate results after only one treatment that could last almost as long as those promised by Sculptra. Before jumping into expensive, invasive surgery that involves prolonged downtime, you might consider consulting with an experienced cosmetic dermatologist. Hope this helps and best of luck.
