I had a labiaplasty about 2 years ago. After it was healed, there was a bump where the frenulum area was cut and it has since gotten larger. It’s about a pea sized hard lump that doesn’t hurt. Any idea what this is and what I should do about it? I had a baby 10 months ago so I’m not sure if pregnancy/breastfeeding hormones made it get larger.

Answer: Post labiaplasty lump I am sorry to hear about this complication. Most likely it is a benign cyst. Possibly retention cyst or a Bartholin gland cyst. Unfortunately the only solution is surgical excision with topical anaesthesia. Best of luck

Answer: Why do lumps occur after genital aesthetics? Hello, if it is not painful, there is no need to do anything, Sometimes these bumps can be caused by an allergic reaction to the sutures. But it is necessary to remove the lump with a small procedure in order to clearly understand what it is and reduce it aesthetically.

Answer: Lump after labiaplasty After a labiaplasty you can sometimes develop a tiny cyst in the place that worries you. Your surgeon's office is often the best place to discuss this. This can easily be removed. Make an appointment to meet for an assessment with your surgeon.
