Hello, I had a brazilian butt lift done back in 2017. I am planning on having a revision due to fat loss in some spots and my left hip is way different than my right. Anyway, I'm also wanting to have my breast done (first time). The question I have is, which procedure do have done first? Thanks!!!!I

Answer: Secondary BBL with breast augmentation As long as you’re doing these separate procedures I don’t think it matters much which procedure you do first. I suggest you talk to your plastic surgeon or the plastic surgeons who will be doing your procedure. If you haven’t chosen a surgeon yet then I suggest having a few in person consultations with local board-certified plastic surgeons in your community. Some people may suggest doing the procedures at the same time though there are some inhernt drawbacks to doing that. Best, Mats Hagstrom MD

Answer: Simultaneous Procedures Both procedures can be performed simultaneously. The benefit of this is that you will have less down time and be able to appreciate your new aesthetic sooner. If you are a good candidate (less than 5L of fat) for a Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL), the optimal outcomes are achieved with: 1) use of VASER liposuction to harvest the fat, 2) a closed looped system such as Puregraft to process the fat, and 3) strategic micro-packet transplant technique. These three processes have demonstrated over 95% fat graft take. This means that your results will be stable as long as you maintain your weight. As an official VASER trainer, I am routinely referred unhappy BBL patients. One of the most common reasons for disgruntled BBL patients is that patients are not able to accurately communicate their desired buttocks goals to their surgeons. A buttocks assessment tool can be an invaluable tool to communicate to your surgeon the exact buttocks size and shape you are desiring. A Skype or FaceTime consultation with a BBL specialist can help you get an accurate recommendation and pricing. Respectfully, Arian Mowlavi MD,FACS Realself 100 Hall of Fame Inductee
