Cellulite & uneven dips post BBL - suggestions for bigger booty? (Photo)

Question

I had a BBL 2yrs ago, but unfortunately my body has absorbed most of the fat harvested. I now have cellulite and uneven dips. What're some recommendations I could do (besides getting another BBL)?

Unfortunately, there is no good way to correct cellulitis. Although signs of cellulitis can be improved for few months after fat transfer, mostly due to volume expansion and swelling, it will not last long due chronic nature of cellulitis. However, difference in graft take in different grafted areas comes from a fact that approximately 50% of injected fat will survive after 8-12 months and become integral part of patient's body. Fat survival does not have to be uniform and for that reason it may survive (take) better on one location than opposite site, location. The way to treat that asymmetry is by means of new, localized liposuction and fat grafting, to correct these, most frequently minor asymmetries. Hope this helps.

You are in good company with many others who had high hopes for BBL but instead received disappointing results (lumpiness, unevenness, lack of projection in the central and/or lower buttock, post-deflation sagging, etc.) as most of the fat melts away. It is not quite as much the quality of the doctor nor liposuction technique but rather the quality of the procedure that is a large part of the problem.  Thus, going back for round 2 BBL most often produces the same disappointing results but at another financial loss.   Buttock implants indeed provide a more reliable, predictable, relatively safe, and permanent result, especially for adding projection to the buttock and often smoothing out lumpiness. Please keep in mind that an extremely few number of board-certified plastic surgeons specialize in buttock implants so be sure to consult with one that is reputable and experienced. Unfortunately you may have to travel long and far away from home to find this particular surgeon. Glad to help.

Pre-op photos would have helped evaluate your present situation. You do have a couple of flat areas and minor cellulite. Your right hip/upper lateral buttock is fuller than the left. 
Cellulite of the thighs is difficult to address. Sometimes feathering (liposuction without the suction on) combined with micro fat transfers helps.  The smaller dents in the buttock may respond well with Radiesse injections. 
Size and evening out larger areas of the buttocks is best served with a revision BBL.
