I understand your concern. However, without a proper assessment, it would be difficult to determine what went wrong. It is best that you visit your plastic surgeon for further assessment or ask for a second opinion. Only after a thorough examination, you can get proper recommendations and advice.

You do appear to have a little too aggressive liposuction and maybe a little uneven. However I think the loose skin is making it look much worse. I think a good tummy tuck would give you a much nicer look. The last photo where you tighten your skin sort of proves it. Good luck.

You would likely benefit from a procedure I have created called a modified abdominal skin resection. This procedure would comprehensively remove excess skin and fat in the abdominal region in one procedure- a task that is not feasible with traditional liposuction or a traditional tummy tuck alone. Liposuction does not create skin laxity. People who have skin laxity after liposuction typically had skin laxity before the procedure.

Your pictures demonstrate poorly done Liposuction leaving you with an uneven fat distribution. this has nothing to do with postoperative massage.

This is simply what poorly done Liposuction looks like by someone who is inexperienced or simply likes inherent skill.

Sometimes I use the analogy of drawing or painting for Liposuction.

If you watch a three or four-year-old child color with crayons they typically randomly draw lines in circles to try to fiddle in the colors and their coloring book.

If you watch a professional painter paint a surface he will see meticulous methodical streaks of paint applied one liner slightly overlapping the next.

This is a bit the same when it comes to Liposuction.

If someone randomly removes fat like a four-year-old scribbling in a coloring book then that’s what the results look like.

On the other hand if someone methodically removes fat with a dedicated pattern of Liposuction strokes then the contour remains smooth and even.

You do have a skin laxity issue and now you also have an uneven fat distribution from a previous procedure.

Correcting the fat distribution is very difficult. People attempt doing this with Revision Liposuction which in some ways it’s simply insult to injury. Another option is grafting fat which tends to work poorly because the areas most devoid of fat lack host tissue to support grafts.

The third option is to convert this to a skin tightening procedure like a full tummy tuck.

That will not address the uneven fat distribution but it will give you tight skin.

There are no easy solutions to your situation.

Obviously I recommend you follow up with your provider so at a minimum that person knows what kind of results they deliver and can hopefully either stop doing liposuction or try to learn proper technique.

Be careful upper providers would feel that is is easy to correct.

Any future procedure should be in the hands of someone who has excellent skill with many years of experience.

My best suggestion is start having multiple in person consultations and see what each provider has to say.

Converting this to a full tummy tuck may or may not be an appropriate option.
