My injector has used Juviderm Vollure and her technique was horrible. Unfortunately after horrible bruising, and swelling I was left with a very bad side effect of hemodeserin staining due to the fact that she hit blood vessels during the treatment. She used a cannula and the cannula also scarred my skin. What can I do? Any recommendations ?

This can be improved with a combination of lasers, Cosmelan, Aerolase, microneedling/prp, skin lightening, peels, and skin care. Sun protection is essential. I recommend getting a formal evaluation with an acne scarring expert. Best, Dr. Emer

Hemosiderin stains can be removed with a tattoo removal laser, like alexandrite or Q-switched Nd:YAG, or a pulsed dye laser like VBeam. -Jeannine Nahabedian PA-C
