Procedures to round out the appearance of a defined cupid's bow? (photo)

Question

My cupid's bow lip line is defined and sharp, like a less dramatic version of Rihanna's. Are there any fillers or procedures to soften this area and achieve a more round appearance like, say, Kim Cattrall's? (don't mind their chapped status, I took this picture in the dead of winter)

Fillers do nicely to temporarily help but a lip implant under local can permanently fix the cupid's bow.

You have a certain shape to your lip that many people would find very attractive.  One can always alter the shape of the lip with filler.  I would suggest a very small amount of a product such as Volbella, or Restylane Silk to help soften the peaks of Cupid's bow.

You would get a nice improvement with lip fillers. These fillers, (Volbella, Restylane, Juvederm) are good to create a symmetrical lip. Nova threads can be used to improve lift and shape. Implants or fat are alternatives. Technique will be important here, so you'll want to see someone meticulous. I recommend getting a formal evaluation with a facial sculpting expert.  sometime a surgical improvement with lip lift may help too.  Best, Dr. Emer

I think you have a nice shape to your lips. A softer filler such as Restylane Silk could be used to hydrate the lips, add subtle volume, and improve shape of the lips as needed.

Firstly, I want you to know that your lips are beautiful and really could stay just the way they are. But yes, there are fillers that can softer the appearance of your cupid's bow. Choose an experienced physician who uses HA's.

Personally I think your lips look gorgeous and I wouldn't touch em!  However, if you really want a more rounded appearance you could add filler to the "slopes" of the cupids bow to pull out the point a bit.  My favorite filler for this purpose is Versa since there is usually less swelling with this hyaluronic acid filler.  Really though, any of the softer HA fillers would work. Hope this is helpful!
