Hello,Thank you for your question. It seems every practice struggles with this. We will lightly wipe the applicator with alcohol, then dry it thoroughly. We willl then press the liner in the cup several times to get the best adhesion. Good luck!
I always wipe down the inside of the CoolMini applicator and make sure it is completely dry, to allow the liner to stay in place. Once the vacuum creates a seal, I press the liner down and ensure there are no air pockets forming between the liner and applicator. I do all of this before puncturing and inserting the gel trap.
n5land,The CoolMini can sometimes be tricky with the 'bubbling' you have mentioned. It is particularly more prevalent on the 2nd or 3rd cycles as the contact surface of the applicator is now cold from the previous cycle. Making sure the applicator surface is thoroughly clean is a must but you may still struggle with the bubbling. Once clean, I would recommend placing the liner and the gasket into the applicator as usual. Prior to turning on the suction, use a blow dryer to gently heat the liner and applicator contact surface. This technique should drastically reducing the bubbling.Be WellDr G - CoolSculpting University East Coast Medical Director
The liners can get tricky, especially with the 2nd cycle. We went through so many liners before we figured these tricks out. After taking of the liner we use an alcohol wipe to remove any gel residue. Fan the cooling plate until it is dry. Apply the liner, start suction, and press around the inside very well to remove any air bubbles. When breaking the liner for the gel trap be very careful not to create a hole too big. After applying the gel trap feel around the suctioned liner really well to check for air bubbles again. Another trick is to not apply the whole tube of gel on the skin, just half to avoid slippage. Good Luck!!
The best results are with an experienced Coolsculpting provider, who is familar with the CoolMini applicator. Good luck!Linda J. Leffel, MDBoard Certified Plastic Surgeon

Hello and thank-you for your question! We offer the Cool mini as a non-surgical alternative to liposuction for the right candidate. We also offer Kybella which is another non-surgical alternative to liposuction. The treatments are separated by 4-6 weeks. If there is mild to moderate skin laxity,...
Hello and thank you for your question. I would ask your OBGYN if it is safe during pregnancy. If they say yes, then you would need to bring a doctor's note to the clinic you are getting CoolSculpting done at.
