Approximately how much would it cost for cool sculpting in the chin, jowls, and neck area cost? Also, will there be loose skin after the fat disappears?

We offer the Cool mini as a non-surgical alternative to liposuction for the right candidate. We also offer Kybella which is another non-surgical alternative to liposuction. The treatments are separated by 4-6 weeks. If there is mild to moderate skin laxity, combining the treatment with Ultherapy is an option. I would visit with a board certified plastic surgeon in your area to learn about your options.

Great question - CoolSculpting costs vary by geographic region, practice, and the amount of cycles purchased. Typically the more cycles purchased - the cheaper it is. But that being said, the cost tends to be around $600 or $700 per cycle.  CoolMini is great for the neck but it does not address the jowls.  To treat the jowls then you will need a facelift with a SMAS plication and/or elevation.  And that is a topic for another question!

Hello,Thank you for your question. The cost of treatment will depend on how many attachments you need. On average you can expect at least two treatments in that area, and sometimes more. Most attachments are around $700-$800 per cycle. CoolSculpting does not cause sagging of the skin. However, every case can be different. Thank you for your question about the CoolMini Applicator from CoolSculpting.  In order to determine if you are suitable for treatment with CoolMini, you would need first to be assessed by a CoolSculpting practitioner as sometimes the neck does not have sufficient fat to carry out a CoolMini Treatment.  The jowls and neck tend to be areas where loose skin forms whereas fat accumulates under the chin.   
However for those people with pinchable fat under their chin, then CoolMini is very effective and could be combined with ultrasound (Ultherapy) or radiofrequency to lift and tighten any excess skin.  The typical price for a cycle of CoolSculpting (using the CoolMini Applicator) under the chin is around £800 and combined treatment prices could be given once you were assessed. You would need to schedule a patient consult at a certified Coolsculpting practice to determine first if you are a candidate, and how many treatment sessions you would need.  Patients treated with the CoolMini applicator might see results as early as three weeks post treatment, but full results generally take from one to three months.  The CoolSculpting procedure’s predictable results (average of 20% fat reduction), non-invasive technology, comfort, lack of downtime and affordable pricing make it a very attractive treatment option for patients looking to eliminate unwanted fat.

Hi Angela1111, thank you for your question.  First, we would recommend scheduling an in person consultation to have your sub-mental area assessed, in order to determine if you actually are a candidate for the CoolSculpting procedure. If you are, then CoolSculpting will do an amazing job of smoothing the area and permanently removing the fat cells, leaving a natural looking result. Regarding the cost, of course that varies from practice to practice and in different parts of the country.  On average, the Cool mini applicator, which is used for the double chin area, costs about $750 per treatment.  However, most patients will need three treatments to achieve optimal results.  We offer a deal: but 2 get one free.  But, this is where the consultation is very important.  Some patients have wider fat distribution and will need to treat with slightly overlapping side by side applications.  Depending on how much fat needs to be removed, this can increase the actual number of areas one would be paying for.  I can tell you that the majority of our patients who treat with the Cool Mini for the sub-mentum, and treat three times, only pay $1500.  I hope this sheds some light on this issue for you.  If you decide to treat with CoolSculpting, you will love the results.

Hello. The price varies based on the amount of treatments you will need on each area that you are wanting to have treated. CoolSculpting is not FDA approved for skin laxity so the company cannot speak to if you will have lose skin or not after having the treatment. Every body is different and some body types are not good candidates for CoolSculpting and it may be better to seek surgical options for skin laxity. Consult CoolSculpting certified practice to discuss your options.
