Recent cold/allergies and anesthesia?

I just got over either a cold or allergies (hard to tell which as I was not blowing mucus). I had post nasal drip and a cough. Cough went away as of today, just have a slight headache from a little congestion left but feel perfectly fine. My surgery- Mommy makeover- is in 3 days, will this be an issue with the anesthesia?

Thanks for your question.  If you are planning a breast lift with silicone impants and a tummy tuck, you should probably plan for three months prior to entering basic training.  Please seek a board certified plastic surgeon who could advise you further.

I uncover the wounds the first day after tummy tuck, but there are steri strips in place until 5 days.  After that, it is completely uncovered. You should absolutely not be covering it to shower.  The surface of the wound needs to be cleaned.

Your irregular period suggests that your hormones are responsible for your acne breakout. This is extremely common due to the physiologic stress of surgery.  I would recommend topical treatments such as benzoyl peroxide or salicylic acid for the temporary breakout.
