30 units of Dysport in my forehead. How long for the brow ptosis to wear off?

Dysport results can last up to 3-4 months, depending on patients. As time passes, you may feel that the heaviness on your brows and forehead should begin to subside within the second to third week. Choosing the appropriate dose and placement of injections varies from patient to patient which is why it is very important to choose a well trained provider specifically a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon. Dysport can be an effective way to decrease forehead wrinkles. 60 units is commonly used in that area of the face. Dysport can take effect as quickly as 2-5 days, but often takes a full 2 weeks to achieve its full effect. Dysport typically lasts 3-4 months, but this varies patient to patient. Some see effects wear off in 2 months, where as others see effects last as long as 6 months. In some patients who develop brow ptosis after forehead injection, the forehead and brow muscles may compensate and help raise the brows slightly in the first month after injection. However, brow ptosis can last as long as the dysport lasts in the forehead, which could be 3-4 months. I would recommend touching base with your injector to discuss this further.
