Dr. Mabrie & Associate’s passion is nonsurgical facial rejuvenation, and we haven chosen to focus exclusively on injectables. Our unique approach focuses on the whole face to bring harmony and balance to your features and make your face look its best from every angle — an approach we call Illumination 360?.
I've had injections twice with Kimberley and was thrilled with the results. She is careful, and pleasant with a surprisingly light hand. (I am neither brave nor stoic with pain). The first time I visited her was also my first experience with Botox. Because of my concerns, she went light, and focused on my glabella and brow area. At that time, I had a dent so deep between my eyebrows that it casts it on shadow. I hated it and felt self conscious every time I caught sight of it on my reflection. Like everyone I have my imperfections, and felt like I could live with most of them. But that dent bothered me a lot. Kimberley was able to drastically improve the area, while preserving motion and expression in the rest of my face. Kimberley also mentioned when we were reviewing my photos that I might benefit from having some Dysport on my crowsfeet. Apparently Dysport spreads in a slightlty different way, and it is less expensive which is a nice plus as well. I decided to try it as an experiment. I woke up the next day and my crowsfeet area was literally FLAT, as though it had been ironed. The botox took longer to kick in. Since it was my first time I went through multiple stages. In the first 24 hours I deluded myself that I could see the changes. This was completely my imagination. By the time a week went by I had convinced myself that it didn't work. Then on day 10 or so, it kicked in and worked magic. It was a bit odd at first to have the sensation of trying to frown and not being able to, but I got used to it. There was a follow-up appointment about 2 weeks later, but my results were so good that I didn't need anything else. Apparently I'm a good responder to Botox. I'm so glad that we went light the first time, because as Dr Mabrie noted, it could have made my forehead look heavy if we had been too heavyhanded. Its true that I have seen that look on other people, almost a chunky blocklike effect, but I never knew why it happened. Some people love that solid freeze look, but Im pretty deadpan already and wanted to preserve the facial expressions that I have got. A quick word about the Dysport: my crowsfeet area is one of those imperfections that I was aware of but kind of indifferent to. Kimberley made no effort to upsell me, but I asked if she had any other recommendations and she said that it was one area she felt confident she could help. I have to agree afterward that it really did make a positive difference, so I would definitely consider that on my list next time around. I know that Kimberley has been doing other types of injections, and building a clientele. I imagine that like Dr Mabrie she will reach a point where the waiting list is quite long, so I'm glad I had a chance to work with her now. I recently did a 360 Foundation appointment with Dr Mabrie, which I'll probably write a separate review of. I think that Kimberley is a really talented and trustworthy person; I felt entirely comfortable with her as a total newbie. I'm not part of the Lux reward program, because I'm petty and like to behave like I'm not getting expensive shots in my face all the time. I do share the secret with people I like however. Thank you for your question! Both Radiesse and Juvederm have their benefits; and although these fillers have different compositions and consistencies, they can actually be used together to give great results. When treating the chin we often use them in combination. We place Radiesse deep, on top of the bone since it is a firmer, stronger filler. We then layer Juvederm Voluma more superficially to help push the skin outwards for further projection.
I've included a video that reviews using multiple fillers in one area, I hope you find this helpful in your research!
Thanks for your question! It is safe to have both Radiesse and Juvederm injected into the same area. Each of these fillers has their benefits, and although these fillers have different compositions and consistencies, they can be used together to give great results. In fact, we often use this combination when treating the chin and jawline!

Great question! Yes, it is safe to use more than one filler in an area, and here at our office we often do. Fillers vary in their consistency, which means some are best suited for certain areas or for certain depths. However, there are times when a combination of fillers gives the best results.
