Can SculpSure cause irregularities and dips in the area treated? (photos)

I hope that as time goes by your unevenness will have resolved. Your pictures were done soon after the second treatment so it is necessary for several months to go by before concluding that this will last. It is common for people to be alarmed at the appearance of their skin or body soon after a procedure, when there is an ongoing reaction to the treatment. Heat causes edema, and swelling particularly in an area with stretch marks can make things look quite strange.  When the reaction subsides, everything looks OK.  So be patient and don't expect any long term problems.

Thank you for your question. SculpSure may cause some tenderness in the treated areas but should not disrupt normal activities. You will notice fat reduction in about 6-12 weeks after just one treatment because you are in the early stages of the recovery period but you will see improvement shortly. Sculpsure can result in areas of inflammation which will resolve.  Massage will help with this resolution.

You are experiencing a normal response to this treatment. Inflammation occurs and thus, swelling and irregularities may occur in the first several days. Massaging these areas twice a day will enhance the healing. After a week, warm compresses will also help.

There can be some temporary inflammation and swelling in the area of the Sculpsure treatment but one of the benefits of Sculpsure is that there is soft edge to the treatment area so these types of irregularities resolved and are not permanent. 

I understand your concern, but I can assure you that you have not deformed yourself. One of the great things about SculpSure is the fact that it treats fat evenly and does not cause the divots and lumps that liposuction can. What you are experiencing is a fairly common side effect - lumps of inflammation caused by the treatment. This is not a bad thing and is the body's way of healing itself, meaning you had an effective treatment! This may take some time to resolve  - could be as many as six weeks, however massage should help with lymphatic drainage.

Hello and thank you for your question and photos. What you are experiencing is very common. Swelling is expected after a  SculpSure treatment. Just massage the area twice a day for 5-10 minutes, and drink lots of fluids.

Given that these irregularities showed up only a few days after treatment they are likely caused by inflammation where your body is clearing the fat cells which have been destroyed. There are no reports of permanent irregularities after Sculpsure as can be seen with liposuction.  
This will likely resolve over the upcoming weeks without any issue. Hang in there

Thank you for sharing your photos and your questions.  Unlike cyrolipolysis, nonsurgical laser based fat destruction with SculpSure has not been shown to cause liposuction-like skin irregularities.  At this early stage, you most likely have some swelling (edema) which can highlight some natural irregularities.   The edema may have also accentuated any skin laxity which can be improved with a radiofrequency (Pellave, Thermage) or combined radiofrequency/Ultrasound device (#Exilis Ultra).   Best of luck,Suneel Chilukuri, M.D.Houston, Texas (Facebook @RefreshDermatology) 

The irregularities reflect the inflammatory reaction that is to be expected with fat cell destruction.  Massaging the area and increasing fluid intake should help resolve this reaction faster.
