I have Sculptsure done two days ago. For the past two days, I have been extremely thirsty, constantly drinking water and urinate. I also gained a few pounds without changing my diet and life routine. Is this normal? Am I getting diabetes because of the procedure? Thanks.

Answer: Sculpsure Facts about Weight Gain, Swelling, Thirst--Add Vanquish, Venus Legacy, Exilis Ultra versus Coolsculpting/Vanquish No, Sculpsure won't cause diabetes, but increased thirst and/or swelling can be common after treatment. The swelling may last for 3-6 months after Sculpsure. If you're concerned, I recommend following up with your Doctor for a formal evaluation. A combination of treatments is needed for best results with Sculpsure. I recommend combining Sculpsure or coolsculpting with Vanquish and Venus Legacy/Exilis Ultra treatments. A VASER hi definition procedure would give you the best results with fat removal and athletic definition but would require more downtime. Best, Dr. Emer

Answer: SculpSure-Weight Gain and Feeling Thirsty No need to worry. Feeling thirsty after a SculpSure treatment is very common. Keep yourself hydrated. As for the weight gain, as long as you are continuing with a healthy diet and exercise you will not gain weight. There can be extra weight gain when consuming fluids, no need to worry the body will release the fluids and the water weight will decrease. Hope this helps,
