My eyelid is now feeling heavy and my lashes are touching it. I also feel alot of tightness in my actual hairline. It was my first time getting botex and the esetrician mixed the botex in another room. The doctor just came in and started injecting. One of my eyebrows will not move. The other has little movement. I called them today and they are making feel like this is normal. Also suggested I may have allergies. If I'm this way now I can only imagine two weeks from now. Any advice please.
Answer: Botox Hello and thank you for your question. I can understand your concern being a first time Botox patient. At this time it all seems relatively normal for 3-5 days post-injection. I would try to wait the full 2 weeks to see how your results are then and if you are still concerned, book a follow-up consultation. Good luck!

Answer: Botox 5 days ago. I'm feeling a lot of tightness in my forehead and above. Up to 2 inches back from my hairline is this normal? Thank you for sharing your excellent question and I am sorry that your current results have caused you concern. During the initial 10-14 days that Botox sets up it can be common to have feelings of tightness and asymmetrical results. Once fully healed much of these feelings resolve. I would recommend allowing your results more time to mature and then revisit with your injector to see how any alterations in dosing or injection pattern can be entertained to improve your next treatment.

Answer: Tightness after Botox As the Botox takes effect, your muscles will feel and respond differently than you are used to. This will make certain parts of your face feel tight or heavy as you have described. This will wear off over time. If you continue to have concerns, I would recommend scheduling a follow up visit with your provider 2 weeks after your injection once the full effects of your Botox come in.

Answer: Botox Thank you so much for submitting your questions. I am sorry to hear your first botox experience has been less then ideal. Feeling tightness and lack of movement as expected feelings though you may have your brow dropped. I am not sure without any photos etc. I typically have my patient come in at 3 days if they are not satisfied or concerned. I would schedule an appointment with your doctor to have your results checked. I hope this helps and good luck.

Answer: Tightness in Forehead after Botox Sorry to hear you are feeling uneasy about your Botox procedure! It does take Botox 3-5 days to kick in and up to 2 weeks for it to fully set in. It is not unusual to have feelings of asymmetry or tightness when you first get Botox. None of us are symmetric so sometimes we dose accordingly to try and make things more symmetric. I would recommend waiting the full 2 weeks to see if you notice any improvement then definitely follow up with your provider to have them evaluate in person. Hope all turns out well!
