Weird upper lip profile (Photo)

Question

I’m thinking of getting a lip lift however I’m not sure if that’s what would help my weird convex lip profile. I’ve always been insecure about it as I see other people with the perfect concave lips. I’m not sure if this is caused by my dentition (I have an over jet and underdeveloped mandible) or just the way my lips are, however I’m willing to do almost any surgery in order to fix the problem.

Hello, A lip lift would help evert the top lip, to create more of the concavity you are describing. HOWEVER, there are other criteria and considerations. First, if you are considering having an oral surgery for your dental occlusion, it is best to do that first. Lack of dental support can indeed cause a lip to curve in. Also, too much dental support up high can create fullness with a relative drop down lower. You must also have a consultation in order to make sure that a lip lip will not solve one problem and create another. &hellip; for example revealing too much tooth show, or creating an overly short or peaked lip.
