F39, deep plane facelift 11 months ago. Previous laxity has returned, with scarring and irregular ear. Biggest concern laxity, like nothing has changed. How is it possible to have deep plane facelift with very little, if any impovement? (Surgeon was well educated, certified ENT and plastic surgeon, this is not the case of cheap back alley surgeon) Do I need entire facelift again or is it enough to trim excess skin? What does it take to fix ear placement and scarring? Recovery?

Probably the best thing to do would be a standard facelifts to reposition the skin properly. There are several ways to treat lower lid retraction and do stones skin needs to be added back or the skin properly adjusted.
