The chin can be lengthened to the appropriate height with a sliding genioplasty. In some cases, the chin can be lengthened up to 15 mm. The amount of vertical lengthening will depend on your existing length.

It looks like your chin has mild excessive horizontal projection with slightly lacking in vertical projection.
I personally do not perform sliding genioplasty surgery, but it seems to me that an oral surgeon should be able to change the projection from horizontal to vertical and that would be an appropriate procedure plan.
A conservative chin reduction to decrease the forward projection could also be considered.
Issues related to the mandible and chin can get fairly complex and sometimes treatment options are limited.
I think oral surgeons may have an upper edge over plastic surgeons, but the background is not as important as their training and clinical experience experience.
Both specialties overlap in this kind of treatment.
Consider consulting with providers from both backgrounds if you have not done so already.
I think your situation is a bit complex to get a formal assessment and recommendation based on posting on this website.
