Can a Brazilian butt lift be performed if I have temporary veneers in?

I have recently booked in for a upcoming bbl surgery but I can’t get my permanent veneers on until a week after my surgery date. Can my surgery be performed with temps in or will I have to reschedule?

A BBL can sometimes still be performed with temporary veneers, but this must be cleared by your surgeon and anesthesia team before the day of surgery. The concern is not the fat transfer itself; it is airway management during anesthesia, because loose temporary veneers can chip, come off, or create an aspiration risk.

Tell your plastic surgeon, anesthesiologist, and dentist exactly what type of temporaries you have and whether any are loose. If they are secure, the anesthesia team may be comfortable proceeding with extra caution. If they are loose, painful, or recently placed, it may be safer to secure them first or postpone surgery. Do not wait until the morning of surgery to mention it.

it is hard to tell for sure without an examination. Generally speaking, veneers are not contraindication for BBl surgery. If you are considering surgery, I would suggest you consult a board-certified plastic surgeon. Only after a thorough examination, you will get more information and recommendations.

Having temporary veneers should not interfere with having cosmetic surgery. I would suggest you talk to the anesthesiologist about any teeth that might be easily damaged if you’re having general anesthesia.
I suggest you talk to both your plastic surgeon at the dentist about your concerns.
