Can a Brazilian butt lift be performed if I have temporary veneers in?

I have recently booked in for a upcoming bbl surgery but I can’t get my permanent veneers on until a week after my surgery date. Can my surgery be performed with temps in or will I have to reschedule?

Hello @amberlyxox, thank you for your question. Temporary veneers themselves shouldn't interfere with a Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL) procedure, as they're unrelated to the areas being treated. It might indeed be more comfortable to have your veneers completed before the BBL procedure. However, the final decision should be made after discussions with your healthcare providers. Best wishes! it is hard to tell for sure without an examination. Generally speaking, veneers are not contraindication for BBl surgery. If you are considering surgery, I would suggest you consult a board-certified plastic surgeon. Only after a thorough examination, you will get more information and recommendations.

Having temporary veneers should not interfere with having cosmetic surgery. I would suggest you talk to the anesthesiologist about any teeth that might be easily damaged if you’re having general anesthesia.
I suggest you talk to both your plastic surgeon at the dentist about your concerns.
