One side of my nose is bumpy and the other is not, its very visible when you look at just my face Than on my side profile I have a hook nose I've been self conscious about this for a few years. I'm not quite sure how to go about surgery I'm a uni student so I can't afford a nose job however I've been looking into getting a filler on the bridge of my nose. Could this improve my side profile?

I recommend getting a formal evaluation with a cosmetic dermatologist to go over your desired results. Facial fillers (voluma, restylane, juvederm) can be used to improve the symmetry of the nose and disguise a bump. Surgery would be needed to improve nostrils or overall shape. See an expert. From your pictures, it does seem that a Non Surgical Nose Job can improve your profile. Making your nose look straight by adding filler to precise points at the top and tip will make it look smaller. A nose that is curved attracts attention and looks bigger. A nose that is straight blends in to the rest of your face and looks smaller. Take a look at the linked before and after gallery and you will see what I am talking about. Be sure to consult with someone very experienced in the procedure and ask to see their before and after pictures. Based on your photos, you appear to have an overprojected nasal profile appearance. That means that your bridge and tip stick out too far, and this is associated with a dorsal hump. Stephgg,                                                                                                            Thank you for your question. The answer is yes. Done properly, fillers can improve the appearance of your nose. Placed in the tip, fillers can elevate the tip and when done with injections into the bridge will both remove the "hook" and create a thinner more defined tip and bridge. Using a combination of fillers and other injectables, most "bumps" can be softened and even removed. It is best to obtain a consult with an injection specialist with much experience with these techniques.      Have a wonderful day.

Thanks for the great question. Fillers are great at correcting slight asymmetries in the nose or for reducing the appearances of dorsal humps.
