I had a rhinoplasty in 2014 overtime my tip dropped looks very similar to the before photo posted, and the after photo is how i would like my tip. I have only a few concerns and questions, is this done with botox or filler or something else? and which is the better option and why? If someone could please recommend me a place in the GTA (toronto) that offers this that would be great!!
Answer: You may be a better candidate for revision rhinoplasty surgery. Based on your photos, you appear to have a long nasal appearance, a droopy tip, and a pollybeak. I do not believe that adding fillers to your nose would lead to a more pleasing nasal appearance. Revision rhinoplasty may be necessary to achieve tip support, tip rotation, nasal shortening, and dorsal lowering, to achieve a less distracting and more feminine nasal appearance. I hope this helps. Sincerely Dr Joseph

Answer: Nonsurgical Nose Jobs With Fillers/Botox Can Lift Droopy Nasal Tips I have been performing nonsurgical nose jobs for over fifteen years. They are quick (takes about three minutes) and easy to perform (in experienced hands) and the results typically engender an immediate "Wow!" response. They are very useful for straightening bumpy or humped nasal bridges and for increasing the projection and upward rotation of droopy nasal tips. A couple of microdroplets of Botox along with a filler, such as Restylane Lyft (which I use in my NY office) and Hyaluronica 2 (which I use in my Israel satellite facility where a far greater number of regulatory agency approved fillers are available) can help to lift the nasal tip. I do not personally know of anyone in the Toronto area that I could comfortably recommend, but I caution you to make certain that you seek out an experienced board certified aesthetic physician, particularly since you have had a prior nose job, which means that there is likely some scarring and changes in the blood supply below the surface that make treating your nose in this manner something not to be left to the hands of novice injector accustomed to treating simple smile lines with ordinary Restylane or Juvederm. And make sure to ask to see his/her before and after photos before agreeing to proceed. Best of luck to you.

Answer: Liquid rhinoplasty Thank you for your pictures and your question. A combination of both - a microdose of botox to the depressor nasalis along with carefully placed filler can help give you the desired look of rotation and projection. Remember that these are only temporary, particularly the botox. The filler will last you around 9 months or so before you need a tune up. I hope some of this helps. Best of luck!
