6 weeks post op Breast Implants, am I at my final results, or will they continue to change?

There will be change after 6 weeks.  Skin stretch and softening will occur.  Bras can be purchased as it is unlikely that you will lose a cup size.  At 3 months this will likely be stable, but change can and will occur as one ages as well. My patients can return to running at about 2 weeks and normal activity in 48 hours.

Sounds like tomorrow you will be seeing the person who can best answer your questions about your healing - your surgeon.  Generally speaking it takes 6 months for all of the tissue changes to completely stabilize. 

Generally speaking, it takes months for the edema to resolve and for the tissues to stretch.  You should have a very good idea of the results at 3 months, but the 6 month mark is even more reliable. Your surgeon will be able to give you a good estimate of your progress.

At 6 weeks to there are still early in your recovery after breast augmentation.  Most patients experience continued change to a more natural appearance between three and six months after surgery.  Of course please ask your plastic surgeon for a formal opinion after your examination.
