Do nano fat injections work for acne scars?

I am a fan of fat grafting to scars to try to help soften them.  It isn't magic.  It doesn't work quickly.  But I absolutely see improvement in the quality of skin and the depth and feel of scars.  Nanofat is when you break up the fat- you are really focusing on the stem cells in the fat- and inject with a sharp needle into the skin itself.Absolutely worth trying.  Don't expect a quick response.  When it does work, it takes months to see the improvement. 

Yes, fat grafting may help soften some facial acne scarring.  I feel the best technique is to do something called "subcision" first,  and then add fat below the areas of subcision.  Subcision is sharply releasing the dermal (skin) attachment below the acne scar, the freeing of this scar allows space for the fat to be injected and helps pop up the area.  At a later date, one could also perform laser resurfacing with either a Fraxel laser or a more aggressive ablative resurfacing using CO2 laser.  Another less aggressive option is to consider microneedling.
