I was prescribed a steroid cream for my face and extreme tissue loss ensued over the course of about 3 months. I went from having an extremely structured face with strong cheekbones and jaw with huge apples in cheeks to losing all of that rapidly. The cream was used for eczema so what options do I have for correcting this?

Topical retinol should be fine to use shortly after fat transfer. During the application, be careful about not manipulating the areas of fat transfer too much. We have our patients minimize facial massaging until approximately two weeks after the transfer has been performed.
