i had an eyebrow transplant over a month ago and there is still swelling (looks white) directly above the eyebrow.i'm getting alarmed by this.should it have gone down by now? the doctor who did it (in Dubai) is not phased but i am.

Answer: Eyebrow swelling not uncommon Depending on the type and quantity of anesthesia used, swelling can definitely occur. Your doctor may be able to prescribe some prednisone or other steroid to help. Gently icing the area (just don't let the ice stick to the grafts!) may also help.

It's difficult to give an accurate answer without seeing any photographs but swelling after eyebrow transplant is common and might last several weeks. If you are concerned about it, your transplant surgeon might like to see some photos via email. Hair growth after eyebrow transplant will take several months so don't be too alarmed especially if your surgeon isn't either. Good luck.
