Why am I still swelling after eyebrow transplant?

Swelling is not normal after a month following eyebrow transplant.  You should take photos and email your doctor

Swelling and redness are common andusually last for a few days. It also completely settle within few weeks. If your swelling last more than a few weeks, you should go back to see your surgeon.

Its quite normal to be swollen for weeks to months after surgery.  There are several treatments that may help but time is the best therapy.  Go back to your surgeon for a full evaluation.  Good luck

Depending on the type and quantity of anesthesia used, swelling can definitely occur. Your doctor may be able to prescribe some prednisone or other steroid to help. Gently icing the area (just don't let the ice stick to the grafts!) may also help.

Hi and thanks for your question. It's difficult to give an accurate answer without seeing any photographs but swelling after eyebrow transplant is common and might last several weeks. If you are concerned about it, your transplant surgeon might like to see some photos via email. Hair growth after eyebrow transplant will take several months so don't be too alarmed especially if your surgeon isn't either. Good luck.

At one month I would expect that all signs of swelling should have gone away (actually within 3-5 days is the usual). If your doctor is not responsive, see another doctor
