All Transplanted Hair Fall off 10 Days Post Op?

Question

i had an eyebrow transplantation and at 10th day post op i washed my face and start to rub my brows , Alot of hair falled off attach to scabes and I found almost all of newly transplanted hair was gone. What I know is transplanted hair will fall off after 3-4 weeks but 10 days is too early, that make me anxious. 1) Is this normal ? 2) is it safe using eyebrow make up at this point?

In general transplanted hairs fall out within a month.  If you believe yours fell out too soon see your doctor for a recheck.

At 10 days the follicles should be "adherent" with some integration into tissue.  Unless they were placed improperly, they shouldn't fall out with gentle rubbing.

In my practice, we instruct our patients to not rub the newly placed grafts for a minimum of 2 weeks. The most that should be done is to let water run over the transplants. In your case, it is possible that follicular units were rubbed away, but there is a good chance you only removed scabs and the shaft and that you did not disturb the grafts themselves. The only thing you can do at this point is to wait. Eyebrow make-up at 2 weeks post-op is permissible for our patients, but I would ask your physician before proceeding.

For most people, the graft hairs and grafts will sooner or later shed. They are never a problem for new hairs that start to grow. Usually, there is a lag time between the time the hairs shed (2-8 week and the time the new hair grows (3-8 months). IF for any reason, there is an overlap between the two, pay no attention to it for when the new hair grows, the old hairs from the grafts that may persist beyond 8 weeks, will eventually shed
