Hi,i had rhinoplasty and a revision septoplasty 10 weeks ago. 3 years ago i had septumplasty so this is my second surgery on my nose.im happy with my profile. Mainly i had the surgery because i disliked my tip. It was very droopy.I told the doctor that thats the first priority. But now it seems like i have a hanging columella, and that gives it the appearance of my old tip.i have thick skin.i know that this factors can slow down the healing process. But i dont think its because of the swelling.

It's important that you schedule a consultation with a board certified plastic surgeon to fully address all of your needs when it comes to a revision rhinoplasty. Thanks for your question. Sorry to hear your nose has given you so many troubles! I think that a lot of this fullness in your infratip region is going to be swelling. When we do rhinoplasty of any kind, the skin is lifted up to expose the structures underneath. The tissue swells and it can take months for the tissue to then shrink down against the new underlying structure. You also have scarring from your previous procedure which will slow down the healing process and keep you more swollen, and for longer, than you would have been otherwise. Be patient with it; it hopefully will improve with time.
