My breast lift was needed after weight fluctuations, which also caused my aereolas to stretch and get very misshapen and much larger than they were before the weight gain/loss. Post breast lift (full breast lift including incision going around aereola) my aereolas don’t match each other- though obviously better than what I started with, is it common to need a second surgery to revise/refine to get everything as symmetrical as possible? What would that surgery be?

You need to ask your surgeon this question. Your surgeon knows what procedure you had and what kind of implants were used. My patients wear a support bra for 4 weeks and then can go into a bra of their choice except for push up bras.
You may be developing a hypertrophic scar. A return visit to your surgeon would be advised to provide a diagnosis and treatment options. It is unlikely that your weight training is contributing to the condition, and it should be safe to continue.
