Does a tummy tuck change your sex life?

According to a pilot study done in 2011 at the São Paulo School of Medicine, the vulva is pulled up a bit higher during a TT which make the clitoris more exposed. Your sex life should improve. The vagina is not changed.

A tummy tuck does alter the pubic area because it lifts and removes the loose skin and excess fat. Could it affect ones sexual life. I guess but this the first I ever heard of a complaint.

I would say that I have never heard this complaint. I would suspect that this issue was more to do with your friend's relationship rather than the surgery. I would not consider this when thinking about tummy tuck surgery.

tummy tuck will tighten abdomenal muscles and remove excess skin from your abdomen but it will not affect your sexual life. If you are considering a surgery, I would suggest you to consult a board-certified plastic surgeon. Only after a thorough examination you will get more information and recommendations.

In general my experience is that TT has a positive effect on a person confidence which is likely, if anything, to enhance their sex life. I can not understand how the vagina would be affected in the way described. The TT is carried out on the front of the abdomen and the vagina is behind the pubic bone.
The nearest I can think of is that liposuction to the pubic area is sometimes carried out with a TT. This could reduce the 'padding' over the pubic bone which would then be relatively bony (it is a bone) and therefor hard. I have never had a patient describe what your friend told you and I have never had a patient complain to me about a 'bony' pubic area so this is just conjecture trying to make sense of your friends description.
Correctly carried out for the right indications the TT has one of the highest satisfaction rates of any plastic surgery procedure.

That's a complaint that I've never heard before and after 50 years of plastic surgery. I guess it's possible that your pubic region was pulled up excessively, but have never seen this or heard of it happening before. If this is not a problem, then I would look at relationship problems.

I’ve never had a patient complained of having a firm Bony vagina after a tummy tuck.

I think your friends husband is perhaps taking liberty with words describing what’s really going on.
