You still may be a candidate for a tummy tuck when taking these medications, but your surgeon will need more information as to purpose, doses, etc. Safety is always the number one priority in surgery. It is important to discuss all medications and supplements that you take with your surgeon.
There are certain medications that you should NOT take before a tummy tuck and certain medications we WANT you to take before the procedure. Hello and thank you for your question . As long as you tell your PS your medical background there is no reason why you couldn't. He or she will make sure your medications don't conflict with post op medications and possibly ask for a medical clearance from the physician treating you.
