Bulbous nose with a divot at the bottom - Is this something that can be fixed via rhinoplasty? (Photos)

Question

I have always had a very bulbous nose, with a divot on the very bottom, there are bumps on the sides that make me extremely insecure. I just want the bumps to be gone and the bottom to not have a divot. Is that possible to achieve? And what would that be around cost wise? I know an exact cost cannot be given and I totally understand that, but I'm just trying to gain an idea of what I’m looking at. This has been a lifelong insecurity and I just want to be okay with my appearance. I will attach photos. I am aware that my septum piercing would have to be removed for any surgery. Thank you!

You have a  bulbous tip, retracted columella and midline depression in the columella. All of these can be corrected with the reduction of tip by removing cartilage and then using it to reduce the midline divot and improve the columella.

Hello and thank you for your question. Based on your photographs, you are a great candidate for rhinoplasty. Maneuvers for your surgery would include dorsal hump reduction, tip refinement, nasal tip deprojection, tip elevation, among other maneuvers. Cost various based on geographic region and surgeon expertise. With good surgical technique, you could have an outstanding result. I recommend that you seek consultation with a qualified board-certified rhinoplasty surgeon who can evaluate you in person.
