If you suffer with endometriosis, can you still get a BBL done?

Having endometriosis should not impact your candidacy for elective plastic surgery procedures.   Your surgeon should do a thorough evaluation and history and physical to look for anything that may increase your risk of having a complication.

Thank you for your question.Endometriosis is a condition inside the abdomen. Liposuction and BBL are procedures done in the subcutaneous tissue, just below the surface of the skin. The procedure will not change anything with the endometriosis.

 Endometriosis is not a contraindication for BBL surgery and as long as you're healthy you should be a candidate for a BBL. If you are considering a surgery would definitely recommend doing an in person consultation with a board certified plastic surgeon who specializes in this procedure and who can suggest what is needed.

Hello dear, thank you for the question and provided information as well.. After analysing your case.. You shouldn't have any problem since endometriosis is not a contraindication for BBL. Just in case, make sure you have a written clearance from your primary MD. If he/she says you're able to have it then I can say you're a good candidate for a BBL, this would give you great results and improve the look of your butt. l recommend you to make an appointment with a board certified plastic surgeon to talk about your goals and anything you need to know, and tell him/her if you're taking any pills or hormones for that.Best of lucks and merry christmas!

Having endometriosis should not prevent you from having a BBL.  Be sure to inform your board certified PS if you are taking any birth control or other hormonal medications to help control your endometriosis.

Your condition does not prevent you from having plastic surgery now. In general, you need to be physically healthy and at a stable weight, have realistic expectations, be a non-smoker and your BMI needs to be 30 or less.

Endometriosis does not affect your candidacy for a cosmetic surgery. Just make sure you discuss it with your plastic surgeon and ensure that he or she works you up for pre-operative clearance with your primary care physician.
